Draft:
Each team will get a total of 7 picks. The team with the least points in the previous season goes first and the team with the most goes last. Expansion teams go before the team with the least points. Obviously teams who traded draft picks will lose or gain a pick earlier in the draft. If they trade a pick away then they will get a 7th round added on. If they get a pick earlier in the draft they will lose their 7th round pick. Before week one teams rosters must be down to 7 players(Not Including GM's/AGM's). This is because there will be inactive players registered in the draft. This gives you the time to drop any inactive players that you have.

Free Agents:
Free agents will be picked up off a waivers system. On Saturdays teams will have the opportunity to pick up players. Waivers must be done before midnight on Saturday. On Sunday all rosters are not official. The first week the teams will be in order with the rankings from the previous season, last team being first. For example:
Week 1:
1. Team A
2. Team B
3. Team C
4. Team D
Week 2:
1. Team B
2. Team C
3. Team D
4. Team A

Keepers:
At the end of the season, each team gets three keepers. GM's and AGM's are automatic keepers.

Trades:
Teams can trade players and draft picks. The trade deadline is the Saturday at the end of the all star week at 11:59pm.

Offseason:
Between the EHL championship and the draft for the next season there will be a 3 week off season. Before the draft teams can open scouting rooms on haxball to check out potential players. This also gives EHL the chance to make any changes before the next season.

Preseason:
Teams will have two weeks between the draft and the start of the season. You also must have your roster down to 8 players (excluding GM's and AGM's) before game one of the regular season.

Regular Season:
The season will consist of 6 weeks. Week 4 will be an all star break. During this week there will be multiple tournaments and festivities. The all star game will be on the Saturday before week 6. The voting will be up the previous Sunday and will be closed on Tuesday at 10:00pm eastern week 4. The team will be announced that Wednesday.

Regular season games are played Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7:00 p.m est.

Game
Games will consist of two 5 minute halves. At halftime teams will have 3 minutes to make subs. One manager on each team will have admin in order to make subs. If either manager abuses their admin they will automatically forfeit the game. If a team is not ready with 4 players in the game after the 3 minute intermission they will be given a penalty. They are forced to sub out a player of their choice for the first 2 minutes of the half. If they refuse to sub a player then the other GM will have the chance to choose what player gets subbed. This player will be replaced the if the other team scores a goal. Also that player cannot be subbed back in until the ball is on the other teams side of the field. If they are not ready after 6 minutes of halftime they automatically forfeit the game. In the regular season games not finished in regulation are considered a tie.

Points System:
Win=2 points
Tie=1 point
Loss=0 points

Playoffs:
The playoffs will be a simple bracket single elimination style. Each series is the best of three games. One round is played every week until it is over. Other teams have the opportunity to prepare for the next season. Awards will be voted on the week following the championship.

Playoff Games:
Games will consist of two 5 minute halves of 4v4. In between halves there will be a 5 minute intermission for GM's to make subs. If a team is not ready with 4 players in the game after the 5 minute intermission they will be given a penalty. If they are not ready after 10 minutes of halftime they automatically forfeit the game.

At the end of regulation if the game is tied there will be another intermission with the same rules as halftime. This is followed by a sudden death overtime until somebody scores.

Rosters:
At all times during the season rosters can have a maximum of 8 players (Excluding GM's/AGM's). Any games played while the roster has more then 7(gm/agm not included) players will be forfeited automatically. Rosters are unofficial on Saturday and Sunday.

GM's/AGM's:
If a team does not have an AGM it means they will lose a roster spot. The roster may still only contain 7 players. Teams without an AGM in the draft get an extra draft pick at the end of the draft.

Match Officials:
An official must always be present in the room during game time. The job of the official is to time the period in between halves and overtime and assess penalties if teams are not ready. They must also record the match.
